ABOUT VIVIENNE WESTWOOD:
Vivienne Westwood is both iconoclast and global icon. In the 1970s, she electrified the world with the launch of punk fashion and went on to become one of the most inventive and influential designers of our time. Known best for her willingness to take risks and to disregard conventions, she also has a profound respect for the past and such elements as corsets and crinolines, which she reinvents in new ways. A major influence on fashion design, her career has ranged from street wear and haute couture to ready-to-wear; from outfits that she designed in the 1970s for the Sex Pistols, the corsetry and ball gowns of the 1980s and 1990s, and the innovative pattern cutting of the most recent years. Her work spans the extremes of fashion, from London street culture to the elegant collections created for the catwalks of Paris, London and Milan, and reveals Westwood's own evolution from subversive shop owner to one of fashion's most respected and colorful figures. November 6: Art Opening - Biagio Black's "JUNOESQUE"

After extensive study of both art and engineering, Biagio Black received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Arts in Sciences, in New York City. Shortly thereafter, Black put his education to work in the professional world, and immediately began breaking new ground in graphic arts and new media. On one of his first high-profile projects, Black created and designed the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" flash game for ABC - one of the most successful online games to date, generating 30 million games played per month.

The buzz and success of the game allowed Black to secure projects and start his own company, Modstar Productions. Modstar (www.modstar.com/) is an interactive creative marketing agency and new media studio based in Los Angeles, with offices in New York City. Modstar's client list continues to grow, and includes Warner Bros., Viacom, NBA, Cirque du Soleil, Ford Models, Fox, Freemantle Media, Wild Turkey, ABC, and more.

Black is currently working on a new series that explores the relationship between celebrity, royalty, and prostitution. For more information about Biagio Black and his "JUNOESQUE" Series, please visit: http://www.biagio.tv/.
