About Vilaiwan Fine Jewelry:
Vilaiwan Fine Jewelry, named after the designer's mother, is created by Polthakorn Viboonviriyawong (Jo-Jo). Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Jo-Jo watched his mother, Vilaiwan, start and build a successful diamond business. His earliest creative memories are of his mother asking him to use his burgeoning design skills to help design new settings for her jewelry. When design became his passion, Vilaiwan sent him to the U.S. to study, and to turn his passion into a career.
Jo-Jo has a Masters Degree in design from UCLA, and received his professional design degree at FIDM, where he graduated first in his class. While at FIDM, Jo-Jo's creative vision took shape into the form of a jewelry line whose statement-making pieces are works of art. Inspired by many vintage styles, Vilaiwan pieces make flowers the centerpiece of their design and the Vilaiwan signature, which was born of the designer's tropical background and love of flowers. This latest collection, which will be on display at EM & Co, carries the designer's signature style over to pieces as minimal as singular strand necklaces, and as intricate as bib-like, bejeweled collars.
Jo-Jo makes every piece of Vilaiwan jewelry by hand, and uses his extensive relationships in the jewelry business abroad to secure only the finest materials - metals, semiprecious stones, crystals, shells and pearls. About Andreea Allman:
Andreea Allman, originally from Transylvania, studied at one of Europe's
leading art schools, to which she earned a full scholarship. She graduated
Summa Cum Laude, with a dual degree of Masters in Art Pedagogy and
Artistic Photography. After winning the National Art Olympics and showing
her work throughout her home country, Andreea relocated to the U.S.
Her style, inspired by the Masters (Chagall, Kandinsky, Picasso, and Dali),
is complemented by her passion for color and movement. She draws her
inspiration from love, music, the universe, and all that it contains. Her
strongest attractions, however, are to the ocean and the myriad of wondrous
creatures inhabiting it -- random outcroppings of sea creatures can be found
hidden throughout many of her paintings. All of her paintings are acrylic on
canvas, ranging in size from 8x10 to 30x40 inches. For more information

About Chris Callaway:
Chris Callaway was born and raised in the heartland, Oklahoma. Callaway's father lived in Europe throughout most of his youth, affording Callaway the opportunity to travel between Europe and the U.S. and to experience both cultures. Callaway's experiences between the two continents have profoundly influenced his artistic views. Callaway first discovered his love for photography in college, when he paid off a security guard to use a darkroom to develop photos. Callaway graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brooks Institute of Photography.
Callaway has had a colorful career in photography, working in a variety of different arenas. He has been connected to the music industry, photographing several rock bands such as The Knux and Velvet Revolver, and his work has been published in magazines like Revolver and Classic Rock. Callaway has worked for the fashion designer Robert Rodriguez, helping to shape Rodriguez's vision for his collection's look book. Callaway's biggest treat was when he got to work alongside celebrity Italian photographer, Roberto D'Este, photographing celebs such as Rihanna and Jaime Pressly.
