About Vanessa Prager:
Vanessa Prager was born and raised in the artists' enclave of Los Feliz, a small bohemian suburb of Los Angeles. Vanessa's first inclination towards drawing came in her high school years, when she was assigned work from a perspective book. Her imagination was immediately piqued, and an artist was born.

Vanessa has become widely exhibited for her atmospheric, figurative oil paintings, as well as her ballpoint pen drawings. Slightly realistic yet bizarre, her subjects take center stage in isolated performances where vegetation, candy and toys reoccur, and lurid backgrounds fade into harsh shadows or a disconnected blur.

To date, Vanessa has collaborated with multiple magazines, she has been included in a myriad of group shows across the country, and her work has found a home with many of the art and entertainment elite. Vanessa continues to work and live in Los Feliz. She is a young woman with the eye of someone much older and wiser; one who captures moments that the viewer can hold forever. About Ali Helnwein/The LA Contemporary Ensemble:
Composer/Conductor Ali Helnwein formed the Traction Avenue Chamber Orchestra, a Downtown Los Angeles chamber orchestra, in 2006. Over the past few years he has also created other outlets for his music, The LA Contemporary Ensemble being one, all to be able to present classical music to a modern audience. It is Ali's mission to keep alive the art of classical music, and present chamber music in more intimate and unique settings. For more information, visit: www.alihelnwein.com.
